Ranger and necro ideas. Unique.
How about a preparation that is dedicated to Nature rituals?
Devoted Spirits - Preparation - Wilderness Survival.
5 energy, 2s cast, 30s duration, 30s cooldown.
Nature rituals* created while under this preparations effect are level 5...20 and have +1...3 health regeneration.
(Work for spirits too?)*
Second idea is basically a change to necromancers minions.
Any minion animated from the corpse of a boss gains +2 on its level. A golem summoned from a boss would prove a useful ally in PvE wouldn't it? Worthy too of a monks attention i would say.
My last idea, although quite amusing, i doubt Anet would give it much attention.
Charmable minions!
I would so love to have my own pet minion that has all the properties of any other regular pet, max level 20, no degen like minions etc.
Obviously you couldn't have a bone fiend as a pet because that wouldn't work unless you planned on having no BM attack skills, and a golem pet would need to have a level cap.
That would be great fun to find a monster that is able to summon minions and then have the skill to charm that minion into a permanent sidekick that will level up. It would be the new ranger craze to have a golem called "Alfie" or something, haha.
Perhaps charm animal might actually find a use in PvP too, if the idea was taken on and it was allowed. Don't get killed with that long cast though, lol.
Another thought, this could give rise to Beastmastery/Death magic breeds in both PvP and PvE.
Imagine a ranger or necro with a pet golem of lvl 20 that then sumons a golem minion from a corpse. He's effectively got two allies and i could imagine R/N N/R teams having lots of fun in PvP with that.
What counters could opposing teams use on that potential FOTM? Smiting? Corpse denial?
Actually if you think about it, it wouldn't be really good defensively because the BM line isn't amazing at self-healing and the poor golem would be ever feasted on.
Whatever your opinions, it's worthy of some consideraton i think.
